Established in 1856 by Gustav Eriksson, Swedish design house Gense grew to become known throughout the 20th century as Europe’s foremost designer and maker of silver, nickel, and stainless steel cutlery and tableware. As a multi-award winning designer, and Purveyor to the Court of Sweden, Gense products can be found in the most discerning homes.

Their iconic salt and pepper shakers are elegantly formed by stainless steel wrapped into a slender conical shape - typifying the modernist design flair of the 1950s. The Bakelite bases fit snugly onto the base and fasten with a simple twist and lock mechanism.

This set is in good vintage condition with minor signs of use associated with typical use and wear.
