Gray-Stan studios operated from 1925-1936 in Battersea, London. The pieces were famous for being completely hand-made, and the innovative methods and designs often resemble later works from the 1950s, or Monart glass.
This lamp base bears the later (hyphenated) marking Gray-Stan, so is presumed to be Circa 1930-1936. There are no visible chips, or cracks.
29cm high. Inscribed to base.
