Italian Murano Tutti Frutti Round Glass Dish, c1960s AVEM (attributed)
This fabulous scallop-edged dish is a riot of organic colour, with swirls of pink, ruby, green, turquoise, and chocolate murrines overlaying and amber-yellow background with gold leaf flecks. It is cased in opaline white.
The most prominent Muranese maker of this style is Arte Vetraria Muranese (AVEM) who made a range of bowls, ashtrays and vases in this style. AVEM’s paper labels are often removed or wear off over time, and although there is no label remaining, we are confident this is an original AVEM piece.
This gorgeous little bowl is in excellent vintage condition. Please check the dimensions as it can often be difficult to determine accurate sizes from the photos.
