Ulrica Hydman-Vallien for Kosta Boda, Tintomara 13cm Glass Bowl, 1972

$100.00

Ulrica Hydman-Vallien was a renowned Swedish artist, particularly celebrated for her work in glass art. She worked for Kosta Boda for over 40 years, and her designs are known for their bold colourful expressions.  Her art is represented in several prestigious museums, including the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Hydman-Vallien’s Tintomara collection  included a variety of glass objects, including bowls, vases, and sculptures, and showcased bold colours, with a particular emphasis on blue and yellow.

These are small delicate objects that make a bold statement with colour. These bowls came in three sizes; approximately 13cm diameter, 11cm diameter, and 9cm diameter.

This example is the 13cm diameter bowl (check our listings for other Tintomara bowls). Please carefully note the dimensions as it can often be difficult to determine accurate sizes from the photos.
