Hand-blown scent bottle by Jonathon Westacott c1992

$100.00
SOLD

Queensland-based glassmaker Jonathon Westacott takes his cues from the wild Australian landscape, having lived, trained, and worked in Victoria, NSW, and South Australia. After completing his arts degree, Westacott worked at the Jam Factory studio in South Australia, where he experimented with the undulating and globular forms in this small piece; producing only a limited run of perfume bottles and candlesticks at the time. Westacott went on to work under glass artist Chris Pantano before opening his own studio in 2004.

Despite its age, this delightful early work is in excellent condition with no marks or visible nibbles to the bottle or stopper. It is clearly signed on the base.
