Between 1960-1980 Turi developed designs for Norwegian ceramic manufacturer Figgjo Fajanse (Figgjo Flint) which became household icons across the globe. Turi’s Daisy, Saga, and Lotte designs were especially popular and earned her a place in design history. She went on to master textile work with the same visual language - celebrating stories of ordinary people, work, craftsmanship, and art. In 2018 she was awarded Knight of the 1st Class for her contribution to Norwegian design and her work remains highly prized.

This ewer-style vase is part of Turi’s Saga range and features her iconic and much-loved folk figures. It is in excellent vintage condition.
