Renowned Romanian-born master glassmaker Ioan Nemtoi developed his artistic talent from an early age, and later graduated from the Art Academy in Bucharest before returning to Romania to establish his own glass studio. Nemtoi’s works are shown across the globe, and are held in collections in the Vatican, UNICEF , McLaren Inc, and high-end private collections.
Nemtoi established his own gallery in SoHo, New York and is represented by David Barnett gallery in Milwaukee where similar pieces retail at approximately US$3000 (AUD $4500). Nemtoi has also exhibited in London.
This superb yellow vase has a bold black rim and includes Nemtoi’s signature bold design, with multiple coloured inclusions, and a stiking form.
The vase is in excellent condition and is clearly inscribed near the base.
