Val Saint Lambert Crystal Vase, Belgium c1960s

$245.00

Founded in 1826, renowned Belgian crystal glassware manufacturer Val Saint is known for its high-quality crystal products, including vases, chandeliers, and decorative items. Val Saint Lambert has a rich history, originating from the site of the former Val-Saint-Lambert Abbey, which was converted into a glassworks. The company gained international fame for its exquisite craftsmanship and innovative designs, particularly during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.

From the 1950s, the company extended their traditional methods to craft exquisite modern pieces which reflected the style of the time, while maintaining their own distinctive flair.  During this period, the company produced a variety of stunning crystal items, including vases, bowls, cendriers (ashtrays), and decorative objects. These bowls and vases often feature jewel colours in twisted and pulled shapes which emphasise the clarity and brilliance of the crystal.

This incredible piece is in remarkable condition, with the original paper and foil label largely intact.

Please note dimensions carefully as it is often difficult to represent sizes accurately in the photographs. The size and weight of this item is reflected in the postage, which includes insurance.
